An original ‘Philly Girl” with strong southern tendencies, Karema Akilah has played many roles on the stage of life. Her past titles include public school teacher, wife, mother to 6 (TheHalfDozen) and widow. Akilah’s current leading role is the Founder of The Genius School, Owner of GreeneHouse Publishing, Founder of The SerGreene Accelerator, Owner of OverFlow Capital Investment Circle, co-founder and COO of NotYetPro.
Her passion is helping others discover their Purpose and walking in it with Power. She delivers Purpose&Power sessions with the desire of seeing people fulfill their reason for being.
When she is not working or traveling for one or more of her projects, Karema Akilah can be found laughing, learning and loving TheHalfDozen. Unschooling as afforded the family freedom to live and learn seamlessly. Monday mornings are characterized with sleeping in as late as possible and making pancakes or waffles around noon.
Who is she? She is a determined and focused Visionary who often closes her eyes while talking in order to “see” the invisible. Who is she? She is an introverted extrovert, who brings her own party with her, “just in case their’s is stale!” She has never met a stranger and believes in leaving people better than how she found them.
